From Idea to Reality: My Journey of Starting a Successful Web Design Business

Starting a Web Design Company from scratch.

Hey there, digital wanderers! 👋 I'm Aly, the brain, heart, and soul behind just Aly, I'm delighted to embark on this blogging journey with you, and I believe it's only fitting to commence by sharing a bit more about myself.

I'm not your typical "tech guru", although I do have a soft spot for modern technology. "Alexa, Shuffle Songs from my feelings good play list." is heard in my house at least once a day. But I am a Web Design Wizard and I love creating exciting digital marketing materials, stunning websites, blogging about my experiences, educating others, and helping my clients do what they love to do by giving them a beautiful website that drives business sales and matches their brand.

My first love of web design came in high school when we were learning coding. Yeah. I liked that part of web designing too. Now I prefer the aesthetics and function versus the actual building part of web design. After high school I took a web design class in college as an art elective and learned about color pallets and how to build templates.

I was working as an administrative assistant for a few years when COVID hit, and I decided to leave my corporate job and I start my own business in 2021. Since everything was virtual, that also required a virtual footprint for my new small business. I also needed ecommerce for payment and invoicing for contactless payment and a social media presence. And that's what I went down the rabbit hole of creating my own website and into the virtual world of building a brand.

I started learning about, carefully curating content, taking my own product photography, testing and editing over and over again, making sure every link went to the right place. I learned how to make my own templates to sell on pinterest and Etsy.

I am self-taught Entrepeneur, made from my experience working own my own businesses and my years of experience working as a virtual assistant with executives, start-up companies and small businesses. One thing I know is EVERY client wants a virtual footprint.

I am here to bring clients dreams of wanting a great website, that is seamless and works like magic to their virtual reality. Why? Because I love it and I know that people don't have the time to dedicate to working on their website, while running a business. I am here to make the most out of my client's time, so they can do what they do best, run their business.
